Syndicated lodges not only cater best for the needs of those who enjoy visiting the Kruger National Park a couple of times throughout the year but also for those who enjoy a luxurious standard of accommodation. These lodges are spacious with five or more en- suite bedrooms.

A number of exclusive syndicated lodges have been built in Mjejane Game Reserve on what are arguably the most desirable riverfront sites overlooking the Crocodile River. These sites have not only been selected for their panoramic views over the river but also for the presence of large well used game trails leading to the water’s edge on the Kruger side of the river. These game trails are the ancient routes followed by animals moving to and from the river. Where they converge on a river bank they also indicate the points that larger species such as buffalo and elephant enter the river to cross over from the northern (Kruger side) to the southern (Mjejane) side of the river. It stands to reason that these carefully selected sites offer superior game spotting and photographic opportunities. The fractional ownership model is structured on 13 lines of four weeks each. Use will be based on a predetermined rotational calendar (see below) which ensures that each syndicate member gets to enjoy all of the Kruger’s fabulous seasonal moods (summer, autumn, winter and spring).

All the periods making up the Fractional Lines have been divided into 13 (thirteen) groups of 4 (four) weeks each and such group of weeks shall be known as a Fractional Line. For the purpose of identification, each Fractional Line is allocated an alpha character A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L and M. The Fractional Lines contain the weeks set out in the table of columns (identified by the numerals (1) to (13)), where each Fractional Line contains the weeks in the columns below the Fractional Line for the year. Week 1 shall relate to the first Friday in the start year, and thereafter to the first Friday of each and every consecutive year. The week numbers from 1 thereafter shall follow consecutively as the weeks of the year proceed from Friday to Friday. For each year following the start year, each Fractional Line shall contain the weeks in the column numbered one greater than the previous year, except that the Fractional Line containing the Weeks in column (13) in the previous year shall then contain the weeks listed in column 1. Buffalo Bend River Lodge has 5 bedrooms and 13 lines of 4 weeks each. As at 30 August 2011, only three slots are still available for purchase at R845 000 per slot. Included in the purchase price is a Kruger National Park compliant game viewing vehicle. The newly constructed bridge across the Crocodile River, which will facilitate Mjejane owners direct entrance to the Kruger Park, will according to management, be open towards the end of October dated the 27th.
